会社概要

Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt, founded in 1946 by American residents in Peru, is a non-sectarian, non-profit, independent international school providing a college preparatory program in English for students from age 3 through grade 12. Colegio Roosevelt is governed by a 12 member board of directors representing the Instituto Educacional Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Colegio Roosevelt.

Colegio Roosevelt is accredited by Cognia (formerly AdvancED) and the Peruvian Ministry of Education and is recognized as the official U.S. State Department Office of Overseas School in Peru serving the international business and diplomatic community, as well as host country nationals seeking an American-style education.

Colegio Roosevelt’s educational program is co-educational and non-residential. The school’s curriculum is robust. The early childhood program is grounded in the tenets of the  stages of child development, language acquisition and problem solving. As children grow into the elementary grade levels and into the middle years, the Roosevelt Curriculum unfolds with inquiry based learning designed with competitive international academic standards and exploratory offerings  in the fine and performing arts, technology and innovation, visits to one of three libraries, Spanish language studies,  and physical education and aquatics and health, wellness and social emotional learning.  As students grow into the High School the school provides a strong advisory program and college guidance support.  In the High School, the academic program flourishes with opportunities to pursue a two year program known as the Innovation Academy, and later selections to continue with the Global Impact Diploma or pursue the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program in grades 11 and 12th.

Colegio Roosevelt believes that all Condors should be known and valued in their community and therefore our program provides opportunities for support with a comprehensive student support program that includes counseling, college guidance, learning support, and limited support in English as an Additional Language (EAL). Intentionally, our program is comprehensive with after school activities, athletics, summer camps, and weekend community events. Colegio Roosvelt’s signature is the thread of its core values, through the global citizenship program, community service programs, and opportunities to explore Peru through our Classroom Without Walls experiences throughout the grade levels (CWW).
