Principles of Good Practice

At Colegio Roosevelt, the Board of Directors’ work aligns with the Principles of Good Practice (PGP) outlined by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) as guideposts for best governance standards for independent school boards.

The PGPs reinforce that the Board is the guardian of the school’s mission, and that it is the Board’s responsibility to ensure the mission is relevant and vital to the community it serves, and to monitor the school's success in fulfilling it.
